Our History

Sexy Fish London first opened its doors in 2015. Located in London’s affluent Mayfair district, it draws a crowd every bit as stylish as its location. The allure of immersive entertainment, stunning design and the promise of truly exceptional tastes make it unique. It is the visioin of Richard Caring, British businessman and restaurateur, who owns many of London’s most celebrated restaurants, including 34 Mayfair, Scott’s and The Ivy. He’s also behind the globally renowned private members’ club, Annabel’s, and is a major shareholder in the Soho House group. Now, his unique vision has brought the Sexy Fish phenomenon to Miami.


For the iconic menu, Richard works with Björn Weissgerber, a true master of his art. A perfectionist, this eccentric German-Swede has trained with some of the greats in the industry. He grew up in his father’s restaurant, his first major influence, and went on to train with Alfons Schuhbeck, famed chef Eckart Witzigmann, Ferran Adrià at El Bulli and the hugely influential Rainer Becker. Awarded a Michelin star at 27 when he was running Ca’s Puers in Mallorca in 2002, Björn’s experience is vast, diverse and led him to us at Sexy Fish. Björn believes in creating healthy food that tastes good and looks Sexy. The menu juxtaposes incredible flavor and impeccable technique to look every bit as good as it tastes. Best experienced shared, guests can enjoy lunch or dinner with the a la carte and expertly curated Omakase tasting menus available all day, whilst the Kuikku menu is available Monday to Friday, and our events menus are designed for parties of all sizes from initiamate sit down dinners to large canape receptions.



For the award wining bar program there is Xavier Landais Director of Bars. The passionate, talented, quietly exceptional Frenchman has developed the drinks served by using his extensive knowledge combined with monitoring the drinking habits of London’s elite through the wider Caprice network of which he is responsible. For Sexy Fish he has defined its bar culture, and with his energetic team serve drinks as good as, well we would say even better than, some the cutting edge independent bars of the world. Our destination bar offers an extensive list of cocktails, full of carefree character and adventurous spirit. Accompanying the cocktail menu is a carefully selected wine and Champagne list which boasts an ample Dom Perignon and Opus One selection coupled with wines sourced locally from the US.

Late Night

Immersive yourself in the hottest revamped Thursday nights with our Undercurrent series. Every Thursday let us transport you to another world as champagne and eclectic cocktails meet sexy sea creatures from glittering mirror mermaids, dancing octopuses, and colorful sea princesses. Get ready to enjoy the beats of our rotating headliners while enjoying the upscale ambiance at Sexy Fish.

On Fridays and Saturdays, Sexy Fish transforms from 10pm into an electric drinking and dining spot until the late. Guests can enjoy a menu curated by our Executive Chef Director, exquisite cocktails and drinks including some of the finest Champagnes and tequila by the bottle.  The energy in the restaurant builds as guests are entertained with house music from our Resident DJ and special guests.
